Yes, my kid has (had) cancer. My son was diagnosed on March 24, 2010. To learn more about that, you can look here.
Since then, I have spent a lot - maybe too much - time thinking about how we can defeat this disease. One thing I have come to believe is that we - the collective us willing to fight have to fight together, and with a cohesive strategy. My sincerest hope is that CRUSH KIDS CANCER can help unify us, and help us form and execute on a strategy. To do that, we have to let go of our own names, and fight in the name of all of our kids.
Each of us has opinions. I have mine, and will share them, but most important is that we can create a clearing house for unified strategy, unified focus, unified support.
This site was created in May 2011 - a little over a year into my son's treatment, with about 2 years to go.
We're just getting started here. Please be a part of the conversation - the tools. site, and community will only get stronger.
